Belagavi: Man Narrowly Escapes in Shooting at Gymkhana Clu

Belagavi, Karnataka: Panic gripped Belagavi’s Gymkhana Club after unidentified miscreants opened fire on a local businessman. The victim narrowly escaped without serious injuries.
According to reports, the businessman had arrived at the club to meet friends when two unidentified men entered the premises and opened fire. The attackers reportedly fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The businessman sustained minor injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
Senior police officials, including the Police Commissioner, visited the spot and inspected the crime scene. A police dog squad and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also examined the area and collected evidence.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting may have been linked to a previous personal dispute. However, police have not officially confirmed the motive and are investigating all possible angles.
A case has been registered at the concerned police station, and a search has been launched to trace and arrest the accused. Further investigation is underway.
