“Life is More Important than Marks: An Inspiring Message to Students by Shivanand Neelannavar”
Belagavi: There are many paths to success in life, and opportunities are abundant. Students should never lose courage in any situation and must move forward with confidence, said Shivanand S. Neelannavar, head of Shivam Associates.
Following the announcement of the state’s II PUC (Pre-University Course) results on Thursday, a motivational video shared by him on social media has caught public attention and received widespread appreciation.
Addressing students, he said,
“Dear students, the much-awaited II PUC results have been announced. Some have passed with high marks, some with lower marks, and some have failed. But no one should feel disheartened or lose courage.”
He also conveyed a message to parents, stating,
“Parents should not scold or criticize their children based on marks. Life is given only once, and everyone should live it with love and happiness.”
Emphasizing the importance of life, he added,
“The world is vast, and one can achieve anything in life. Even those with less education have succeeded. Life experience and humanity are more important than formal education.”
Sharing his personal experience, he said,
“I too had limited formal education, but I learned many things in life and am now engaged in social service. I believe that service to the nation is service to God.”
Finally, he gave a heartfelt message to students:
“Whether you pass or fail, stay strong and courageous. If you are brave, you can achieve anything in life. Don’t worry about low marks—stay happy. Humanity is more important than education. As a son of your home, as your elder brother, I say—live your life beautifully.”
He concluded by wishing all students success in their future endeavors.
