On the occasion of completing one year since its formation, the Belagavi District Electronic Media Journalists Association has elected new office bearers for the upcoming term. In this regard, a meeting of the association’s members was held on Tuesday at the Kannada Sahitya Bhavan in Belagavi.
At the meeting, senior reporter Chandrakant Sugandhi of News18 Kannada was unanimously elected as the new President of the association. Senior reporter Sridhar Kotaragasti of TV5 was elected as the General Secretary, Sahadev Mane, senior reporter of TV9, as the Treasurer, and Adives Patil, senior cameraman of Suvarna News, as the Joint Secretary. The remaining office bearers from the previous term were continued.
Former President Manjunath Patil, Honorary President Shrikant Kubakaddi, Vice President Chandru Shriramudu, and executive committee members Santosh Shriramudu, Ajit Sannakki, Manjunath Reddy, Anil Kajgar, Siddesh Puttani, Mailari Patat, Siddanagouda Patil, Manjunath Huded, Rajesh Hoogar, Sunil Gavade, Rohit Shinde, Praveen Shinde, Ravi Bhovi, Vishwanath Patil, Pratap Chavadikar, Ashok Kabadagi, Mahantesh Hadapad, Shivu Hulloli, among others, were present at the meeting.
