Bihar Election 2025 Results on November 14: NDA vs INDIA Bloc in High-Stakes Battle.

The Bihar Election 2025 results will be declared on November 14. Voting is happening in two phases for all 243 assembly seats, and any party needs 122 seats to form the government.

The election will decide whether Nitish Kumar, who has been Chief Minister many times, continues in power with the NDA (BJP + JD(U) + HAM), or whether Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD-led INDIA bloc wins and forms the next government.

✅ Voting Details

Phase 1 (Nov 6): Voting for 121 seats in 18 districts

Turnout: 65.08%, higher than the 2020 election turnout (57.29%).

Phase 2 (Nov 11): Voting for the remaining 122 seats in 20 districts, including Gaya, Nawada, Bhagalpur, Jamui, and Purnia.

Officials said Phase 1 was peaceful and saw 8% more voting than last time.

NDA currently has 132 MLAs in the outgoing assembly.

RJD has 75, Congress 19, and CPI(ML)-Liberation 12.

Nitish Kumar has changed alliances several times since 2020. On the other side, Tejashwi Yadav is focusing on issues like unemployment and development to attract voters.

✅ Prashant Kishor’s Party

Political strategist Prashant Kishor is making his debut with the Jan Suraaj Party (JSP). His party is contesting all 243 seats, becoming a third front besides NDA and INDIA.

✅ 2020 Recap

NDA won 125 seats and formed the government.

BJP got 74 seats; JD(U) got 43.

RJD was the largest single party with 75 seats, but Nitish Kumar became CM with BJP’s support.

Since then, Bihar politics has seen many alliance changes, including Nitish joining RJD in 2022 and returning to NDA in 2024.
