Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Thamma had a great start at the box office during Diwali, but its earnings have now dropped.
According to early reports from Sacnilk, the movie collected around ₹3.79 crore on its fourth day (Friday), showing a big fall after the festive weekend. Still, the total collection has reached about ₹59.39 crore. The film had earned ₹24 crore on Day 1, ₹18.6 crore on Day 2, and ₹13 crore on Day 3.
Thamma is said to be made on a budget of ₹113 crore. It’s a romantic horror-comedy — the fifth film in Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, it stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The movie was shot in Delhi, Mumbai, and Ooty and released in theatres on October 21, 2025, during Diwali.
Thamma opened strong during the Diwali weekend, thanks to its mix of humour, romance, and horror elements. However, its earnings dropped sharply on the fourth day, a regular working day. Despite the dip, the total collection remains strong.
The movie was shot across Delhi, Mumbai, and Ooty, with the shoot completed by mid-2025. The soundtrack is composed by Sachin–Jigar.
