Actor Sara Ali Khan recently went on a spiritual trip to the Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand. She shared several photos and videos from her visit on Instagram, showing moments from her long trek, prayers, and time spent with local people.
Sara was seen praying outside the temple, watching the sunset, and enjoying the mountain views. She posed for pictures and smiled happily after reaching the temple, accompanied by a friend.
During her visit, Sara also met local villagers and tried some of their traditional dishes. In one video, she was seen sitting inside a tent, learning about local food and tasting “ghee waali rajma.” She also clicked pictures with the locals and enjoyed parathas at a small restaurant.
In her post, Sara wrote, “Jai Shree Kedar… The only place that feels completely familiar yet fills me with wonder every time. Only gratitude — thank you for making me who I am.”
However, one video from the trip drew attention online. It showed Sara sitting cross-legged near the temple, quietly praying, when a person approached her for a selfie. Sara ignored him and stayed silent, but the person kept asking. Fans online supported her, saying she should be left alone to pray in peace.
Sara shares a special bond with Kedarnath, as it was the title and setting of her debut film (2018) with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
