PM Modi Flags Off Four New Vande Bharat Trains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi on Saturday. These trains will run on the following routes:

Banaras–Khajuraho

Lucknow–Saharanpur

Firozpur–Delhi

Ernakulam–Bengaluru

These new trains will help reduce travel time and improve transport, tourism, and economic growth in the regions.

During the event, PM Modi said that better infrastructure—like good roads, bridges, and rail connectivity—helps cities grow faster. He also said that pilgrimages play an important role in connecting people and improving the country’s spiritual strength.

He added that better connectivity between holy cities increases tourism and supports the economy. He mentioned that last year 11 crore people visited Baba Vishwanath temple, and over 6 crore visited Ram Lalla, which added thousands of crores to Uttar Pradesh’s economy.

Banaras–Khajuraho Vande Bharat

This train will connect two major cultural cities, Banaras and Khajuraho.

Travel time will now be only 2 hours and 40 minutes, much faster than the current special trains.

It will connect important places like Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho.

The improved connectivity will make it easier for people to visit religious sites and the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Khajuraho.
