NDA Set to Reveal Bihar Election Seat-Sharing Formula; JDU Likely to Get 102 Seats.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to announce its seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections today. The announcement will likely confirm how many seats each partner party will contest.

BJP’s Bihar state president Dilip Jaiswal told reporters that all alliance partners have agreed to the final seat-sharing plan and that the NDA is united. “All is well in the NDA. The seat-sharing details will be announced today or by tomorrow morning,” he said.

Senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and party president JP Nadda, held meetings with allies to finalise candidates for the polls.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also said that every partner is satisfied with the decision. “All allies are happy. Nobody has any complaints,” he added.

According to reports, Nitish Kumar’s JDU is likely to contest 101–102 seats, while the BJP will contest one seat less. Talks with smaller allies like Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) are still ongoing.

The Bihar Assembly elections will take place in two phases on November 6 and 11, and the results will be announced on November 11.
