Belagavi: Rohit Magadum, son of Shivangouda Magadum from Belavi village in Hukkeri taluk and a resident of Mahalaxmi Nagar, Belagavi, has made the city proud by clearing the SSC Technical Entry through SSB Bhopal and being selected as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
Rohit, who completed his BE in Computer Science from KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belagavi, will join the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya on September 29 to begin his military training.
He began his early education in Delhi, continued from Class 6 to 12 at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Belagavi Cantonment, and later pursued engineering at GIT. Rohit’s success has brought pride to Belagavi and stands as an inspiration for youth aspiring to serve the nation.
